Surgery Update
So, the Surgery was this morning at 7:00am, and took about 3 1/2 hours, plus post-op time. It went as well as could be hoped. Tonight, Sue is in her hospital room (a lovely corner room for B to hang out in!), asking for dinner - jello, etc. She is using the PCA, and snoozing with the TV on. Blowing on that little plastic, handheld lung capacity measurer/strengthener, and aware of the discomfort. B is finally home, and exhausted, so this is short. It went well; nodes and tumor to pathologist for further slicing and dicing, or whatever it is they do. More will be revealed. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. Expected release day is Saturday, subject to change.

Thank you for the update, Beth. So glad all went well so far...will keep the positive thought flowing. What hospital is Sue in? Wishing for any visitors? Take care.
